Dee Time
Episode 4.07
Aug. 24, 1968
Rod Taylor appeared with Zsa Zsa Gabor on this popular British
chat show hosted by Simon Dee. Lynn Redgrave was another guest.
"Dee Time" was immensely popular during its
1967-69 run on the BBC. Dee's obituary notes that "anyone who was anybody
wanted to appear in the programme."
Only a very short clip of Rod's appearance on the show
exists, and Rod is barely in the frame. (View
it here.) In it, Simon Dee tells Zsa Zsa how he has always
wanted to meet her, and she replies likewise, commenting on how
handsome he is. Taylor then says, "Welcome to the Zsa Zsa Gabor
show!"
Rod and Zsa Zsa were in London for the premiere of "Nobody
Runs Forever" (aka "The High Commissioner"), which was held
the day before this episode aired.
Episode 4.23
Dec. 30, 1968

which possibly included taped highlights from previous episodes
throughout the year. Other guests on this date were Lord Arran and
Richard Harris.
